Meeting of the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan

On April 23, 2025, Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, together with Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research, welcomed a delegation from Uzbekistan in connection with the ongoing 2nd Forum of Rectors of Poland and Uzbekistan in Warsaw.

The delegation included His Excellency Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan; Jabborov Ravshanbek, Consul Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Deputy Minister Sarvarkhonen Buzrukhonov and Bunyod Radjabov Abdukhalilovich from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was organised by the Centre for International Cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology, represented by Ms. Marta Szajnowska-Ksit, Deputy Director, and Ms. Patrycja Kluź.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister presented the state of higher education in Uzbekistan and the potential areas of cooperation between the Warsaw University of Technology and Uzbek universities. The discussion highlighted disciplines in which WUT could collaborate in terms of student exchange, academic staff exchange, and sharing of experience between universities.

Following the official meeting with the university authorities, the ambassador and the deputy minister met with 18 students from Uzbekistan who were currently studying at the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Warsaw. The meeting took place in the Main Building of WUT.
