Participation of WUT Staff in ENHANCE Workshops at Gdańsk University of Technology
On June 23–26, 2025, Gdańsk University of Technology organized parallel workshops for leaders of WP7 (European Educational Pathways) and Local Communication Officers within the ENHANCE Alliance. The meetings aimed to strengthen inter-university cooperation, develop shared communication goals, and increase the engagement of the academic community with the educational offerings created within the alliance.
Representing WUT at the workshops were: Dr. Eng. Izabela Żółtowska, WP7 Leader at WUT (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology), Dr. Eng. Adam Styk, ENHANCE Education Officer (Faculty of Mechatronics), Anna Smulska, ENHANCE Mobility Officer (Centre for International Cooperation), Piotr Szczepański, ENHANCE Local Communication Officer (Centre for International Cooperation), and Adam Woźniak, representative of the ENHANCE Student Forum (Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering).
The first day was dedicated to arrivals and an informal welcome, which concluded with a group boat cruise on the Bay of Gdańsk.
Official working sessions began on Tuesday. The morning session focused on local communication structures within ENHANCE and community-building strategies. Participants presented case studies from their universities, discussing best practices, engagement statistics, and organizational challenges. Common needs and barriers were identified, along with effective communication practices that can be adapted to various local contexts.

The afternoon was devoted to the primary target audience of communication efforts – students. The session aimed to gather their visions and expectations for ENHANCE’s future communication initiatives. It provided valuable insights into preferred formats, content, and communication channels and allowed participants to collaboratively develop pilot ideas. The day ended with a campus tour of Gdańsk University of Technology and a shared dinner.

Wednesday featured an intensive training session with Paul Vu, an expert from Keystone Education Group. The morning focused on storytelling and strategies for creating content tailored to different audience groups. In the afternoon, a joint session was held with education and mobility officers to synchronize calendars for promoting educational mobility within ENHANCE and to define joint communication strategies related to the consortium’s offerings.
Thursday was dedicated to summarizing the workshops. Participants jointly defined both local and shared communication objectives for the upcoming months. The event concluded with a vote that identified the most important common communication goal and a set of institutional objectives, intended to streamline future actions and coordination within the ENHANCE Alliance.
The workshops in Gdańsk marked an important step toward building a cohesive, integrated communication strategy for ENHANCE and further strengthened the bonds between all partners.
