Participation of scientists from Ukraine in the conference ‘Public Administration Challenges in European Countries - Administration and New Technologies’ at WUT

On May 9, 2023, an International Conference of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences of Warsaw University of Technology entitled 'Public Administration Challenges in European Countries - Administration and New Technologies' was held in the Small Hall of the Warsaw University of Technology. Thanks to NAWA funding, it was attended by representatives of various academic communities representing Polish and foreign universities. 

Among the invited guests were Prof. Nazar Podolchak from Lviv Polytechnic University and Anna Ishchenko from Kyiv Polytechnic University. The Center for International Cooperation submitted the application for funding within the framework of the "Solidarity with Ukraine" – European Universities program.

The inauguration was attended by Prof. Dr Mariusz Malinowski – Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Anna Zalcewicz – Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, Prof. Krzysztof Koźmiński – Member of NAWA Council, Prof. Jerzy Woźnicki – Leader in the project ‘Polish-Ukrainian cooperation of representative institutions representing rectors, for the improvement of university operations’ WAiNS PW, President of the Polish Rectors Foundation and Grzegorz Robak Director of the Center for International Cooperation.

The International Conference ‘Public Administration Challenges in European Countries – Administration and New Technologies’ is part of a series of scientific events ‘Digital techniques and modern technologies – human orientation’ organised on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences at the Warsaw University of Technology.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss the current issues related to the digitization of public administration, cyber security and the application of new technologies like AI in administration.
