Participation of the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology in the 1st Conference of European Universities
On May 15, 2023 Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba, Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, participated in the First Conference of European Universities organized by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System - National Agency for the Erasmus+ Program. Prof. Zaremba, together with other rectors of Polish technical universities, discussed the role of alliances of European universities in this process in the panel "European Universities as a path to an innovative economy".
In the "European Universities - Alliances of the Future" competition, Warsaw University of Technology was nominated in 2 categories: Innovation and Support for Ukraine.

The conference was also attended by Prof. Andrzej Kraśniewski, leader of the "Society-centered education" package in the ENHANCE Alliance, Daniel Paczesny, PhD, Director of the Center for Distance Education, as well as Izabela Skwara, Head of the Department of Studies, Olga Skierniewska-Małys, Deputy Head of the Department of Studies, and Grzegorz Robak, manager of the ENHANCE project at Warsaw University of Technology.
