Study visit of 6 lecturers of English from Lviv Polytechnic University and Kyiv Polytechnic University to The Foreign Language Center (FLC)
On May 15-19, 2023. The Foreign Language Center and the Center for International Cooperation were visited by the Dean of the Faculty of Linguistics at Kyiv Polytechnic University and lecturers of English from the Foreign Language Studio and the Faculty of Linguistics at Kyiv Polytechnic University and Lviv Polytechnic University. Both Ukrainian universities are ENHANCE Network Partners. The visit was organized by the Foreign Language Center in cooperation with the Center for International Cooperation of the Warsaw University of Technology within the framework of the "Solidarity with Ukraine - European Universities" project.

The main purpose of the visit was to exchange experience, learn about teaching methods, organization of language classes and potential joint projects using the proven model of language tandems. The leader of the "Language Tandems" project in the ENHANCE consortium is the Warsaw University of Technology.
Important elements of the visit were the observation of classes conducted by SJO and many meetings and inspiring conversations with SJO lecturers.

On May 15, 2023, female lecturers from Ukraine - Olha Pavlenko, Kateryna Tuliakova, Hanna Shayner, Halyna Yaremko, Nataliia Romanyszyn and Oksana Puha met with the FLC team: Lucyna Skwarko, FLC Director, Anna Król, FLC Deputy Director for English, and Dorota Chrominska, FLC International Cooperation coordinator. The meeting was attended by Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Center for International Cooperation.
On Wednesday, the lecturers met with Ukrainian students studying at WUT, and on Thursday they met with Grzegorz Robak, Director of CWM, to discuss further cooperation within the ENHANCE consortium.
The series of meetings concluded with a wrap-up of the visit, which was held at the WUT’s Foreign Language Center on Friday.
