The Invitation to the international competition Falling Walls Lab

The Falling Walls Lab competition is open to the representatives of various fields: sciences, life science, engineering and technology who meet one of the formal requirements:

● have a doctoral degree earned after the 1^st January, 2017,

● have a master's degree obtained after the 1^st January, 2015,

● have a bachelor's degree obtained after the 1^st January, 2012,

● have a student status.

The goal of the competition is to present a solution that will help to overcome limitations ("walls") in science, society, economy or the technological industry. During the nation finals of the competition, which will be held at the Warsaw University of Technology on 15^th September, 2022, the participants will present their ideas in English in a 3-minute speech to be judged by the international jury.

The winner of the Warsaw competition will win a trip to Berlin to participate in the Falling Walls Lab global finals on the 7^th November, 2022 with the opportunity to become the Breakthrough Winner of the Year in the Emerging Talent category of the competition and to attend the prestigious Falling Walls conference.

The participants who register for the competition by 30^th June, 2022 will receive the  invitation to an on-line training on branding and public speaking as well as the book entitled The Art of Science Promotion. A practical guide for scientists published by the Information Processing Centre - National Research Institute.

The deadline for applications is 15^th August, 2022.

The Warsaw University of Technology will host the Falling Walls Lab Warsaw finals. Pro science company is the organizer of the event.
