Two participants from Ukraine in staff week at Politecnico di Milano

The 6th ENHANCE Staff week, entitled “ENHANCing talent for all” was hosted by Politecnico di Milano between 13th and 15th June. 21 participants from 8 partner universities, together with two exceptional participants from ENHANCE associate partners National Technical University of Ukraine and Lviv Polytechnic National University, have spent three days working intensively on topics such as valorizing diversity, facing stereotypes, revealing talent. With the support of topic experts and the presence of remarkable testimonials, the participants have reflected on how to identify and remove the barriers that prevent talent from emerging, and how universities can pave the way to valorize diversity and reveal everyone’s talent.

In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to speak with Prof. Amalia Ercoli Finzi, the first Italian woman to graduate in aeronautical engineering and one of the most influential figures in aerospace technology. The day ended with a guided tour of the Milan Polytechnic laboratories.

On the third day, participants took part in a panel discussion on stereotypes led by a psychologist. The training ended with a conclusion.
