Visit of Indonesian journalists to WUT
Between 28th September and 2nd November 2015 Warsaw University of Technology hosted two Indonesian journalists: Ms. Irawati Diah Astuti, a journalist of “Investor Daily”, “Suara Pembaruan” and ”Investor Magazine” and Mr. Dolok Carry Armstrong Nadeak from “Gatra” daily journal. The visit was organized upon an invitation from WUT, with the aim of gathering information for a series of articles about our University in Indonesian press.
Agenda of the visit included:
- a meeting with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs professor Krzysztof Lewenstein,
- a meeting with Director of Centre for International Cooperation Mr. Łukasz Wojdyga - presentation of WUT and its offer of studies in English,
- a meeting with a representative of International Students office, Ms. Małgorzata Musińska and the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology’s Dean’s Proxy for Studies in English Dr. Roman Podraza - presentation of application and admission process from perspectives of admission office and Faculty coordinator,
- visits to laboratories of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, the Faculty of Production Engineering, the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering and the Faculty of Physics,
- a visit to WUT’s Main Library,
- a meeting with a representative of Erasmus Student Network section of WUT,
- participation in the official ceremony of inauguration of the academic year 2015/2016 in the Main Building of WUT.
A series of articles on Warsaw University of Technology and its offer of studies in English is going to be published in Indonesian newspapers by the end of October, just before a visit of Centre for International Cooperation’s representatives to Indonesia and their participation in EHEF 2015 education fair in Jakarta and Yogyakarta (late October/early November).
