Visit of the Indian Delegation to Warsaw University of Technology

On 17 June 2026, Warsaw University of Technology hosted a 15-member delegation from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), one of the most prominent organizations representing India’s business and industrial sectors.

The meeting took place in the Main Building of Warsaw University of Technology. The FICCI delegation was welcomed by Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, Vice-Rector for Research at Warsaw University of Technology. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Konrad Lewczuk, Vice-Dean for Research at the Faculty of Transport and Chair of the Senate Committee for International Cooperation, Grzegorz Robak, Director of the Centre for International Cooperation, and Patrycja Kluź from the Centre for International Cooperation.

During the visit, the Vice-Rector for Research presented the scientific and educational potential of WUT, with particular emphasis on the University’s priority research areas and opportunities for cooperation with India. The guests were introduced to the University’s key achievements and the main directions of research development pursued at WUT.

Grzegorz Robak presented Warsaw University of Technology’s cooperation with India in the areas of education, inter-institutional agreements, and the organization of events such as the National Day of India and a performance of Odissi dance group from India. During the National Day of India, organized by the International Relations Office, the Ambassador of India to Poland, Nagma Mallick, participated. Grzegorz Robak also discussed WUT’s activities within the ENHANCE Alliance, with particular focus on language tandems, the joint educational offer, and initiatives supporting staff development.

An important part of the meeting was a discussion on the prospects for strengthening relations between Warsaw University of Technology and partners from India. The talks focused on potential areas of future cooperation.
