Visit of the delegation of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics

The delegation consisted of:

• Prof. Jiang Ju, Dean of Graduate School, Professor of Control System
• Prof. Yang Minda,  Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering
• Prof. Li Yao, Associate Professor of Computer Science
• Prof. Jin Quanyuan, Professor of English Language Teaching, Director of International Office
• Mr. Xie Keming, Director of Dongfang Education Office, China Scholarship Council.

The visit has been welcomed by the Centre for International Cooperation and two Faculties of WUT: Electronics and Information Technology and Power and Aeronautical Engineering.

NUAA is a well-known Chinese university ranked number between 1 to 10 among the best universities in its region  - Jiangsu Province. The University is one of the best in education students in the field of Aerospace Engineering in China. NUAA offers full bachelor studies in English at the following disciplines: Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Technology and Software Engineering. Each year the NUAA offers summer schools and scholarships for Master and PhD international students.

Both Universities have signed the Memorandum of Understanding on joint education and exchange of students and faculty staff in 2014. We are planning to sign the agreement on cooperation for 2+2 programmes in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Aerospace Engineering in the future.
