Welcome Meeting for international students - report
On 2nd of October at 6pm in the Small Hall of the Main Building a Welcome Meeting was held for the new-coming international students. The meeting was organized and chaired by ESN PW and the guests included the Director of Centre for International Cooperation Mr. Łukasz Wojdyga, members of International Students Office and a lecturer of WUT Language School, Mrs. Marta Szpak.
The meeting started with a welcome from the President of ESN, Ms. Magdalena Baran, followed by a presentation by Karol Maśluszczak from ISO and an invitation for Polish language classes by Mrs. Marta Szpak. Then, the students had a chance to see the schedule of the upcoming Orientation Week – a series of events and meetings planned by ESN for international students for the following days.
Welcome Meeting was attended by about 400 new-coming students, including both fulltime students and Erasmus and other exchange programs participants. During the meeting, every student was given a welcome pack with WUT and ESN gadgets.
