Welcome Meeting for international students
A meeting for international students who start their studies in the winter semester of the 2023/2024 academic year was held on 5.10.2023 in room 1.01 in the Innovation Centre, 4 Rektorska St. The event was organised by the staff of the International Cooperation Centre from the International Students Office. More than 60 students attended the meeting.

Prof. Robert Zalewski., Vice-Rector for Student Affairs welcomed students from Africa, Asia, South and North America and Europe were . The participants listened to presentations concerning, among other things, academic culture, the structure of WUT, health insurance or residence cards prepared by representatives of the International Students Office and Welcome Point.

The participants were also introduced to the offer of the Erasmus Student Network for foreign students and listened to a presentation by Marek Kilarski from the Warsaw Tourist Office on transport in Warsaw and the capital's biggest tourist attractions.

Mart Szpak, Polish language teacher at the Warsaw University of Technology, introduced the students to the offer of Polish language courses (more about teaching Polish at WUT: HERE).
The meeting ended with a quiz where participants could test their knowledge of Poland, our language and the Warsaw University of Technology. The five people with the best results received gifts.
We want to thank all the participants for participating and wish the students good luck in their studies and the coming academic year.
