LLP - ERASMUS

In the years 2007 and 2014 Erasmus was a part of the Lifelong Learning Programme – LLP.

The participation in the LLP-Erasmus programme was granted to higher education institutions which obtained Erasmus University Charter from the European Commission.

Warsaw University of Technology was granted Extended Erasmus University Charter which enabled both, student mobility aimed at studying – SMS, and student training mobility - STM (the former edition, Socrates-Erasmus did not include training mobility).

Erasmus University Charter included also teaching staff mobility (STA). Differentiating from the previous edition of the Erasmus programme, a new action – staff training (STT) was introduced.

From 2007 to 2014 Warsaw University of Technology also accepted students from EU universities as well asother participating countries, mainly from Turkey. In this area we have observed a significant growth: from 60 students in the first year of the programme to over 300 in the last year.
