First ENHANCE Online Offer by RWTH Aachen: Logistics Systems Planning I - DEADLINE 30.09.2024
Experimenting with innovative formats of Mobility, RWTH will be piloting their first ENHANCE Online Course on Logistics Systems Planning I (5 ECTS), offered by the “Deutsche Post Chair - Optimization of Distribution Networks” at the School of Business and Economics.

What is it about?
Logistics Planning aims at having the right item in the right quantity at the right time at the right place at the right cost. The main drivers of logistics system costs are the design of the logistics network, transportation, and warehouse operations. This course introduces the most important planning tasks in these fields from a quantitative viewpoint using mathematical modeling techniques and optimization methods.
Who can participate?
30 Bachelor or Master students in the fields of Economic Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, (Business) Math, (Business) Informatics, Data Science etc.
Prerequisites?
Fundamental knowledge in mathematical modelling and operations research
Start & End Date?
October 7th, 2024 until November 25th 2024
