Upscale your learning offer with the ENHANCE+ Future Competencies Call - DEADLINE 28.09.2026

As part of the ENHANCE+ project, the ENHANCE Future Competencies team is launching the Future Competencies Scale-Up Call, a top-up funding round open to academics, students and doctoral candidates at all ENHANCE partner universities.

ENHANCE future competencies_call

This call invites teams who already run an online, hybrid, or COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) course to scale it up: opening it across the Alliance and enriching it through collaboration with at least one other partner university.

Selected offers will receive up to €3,000 in ENHANCE+ funding, plus a possible top-up of up to €3,000 from our valued ENHANCE member TU DELFT, depending on the number of partner universities involved and the offer's budget needs.

To be eligible, an offer must:

  • Involve at least two ENHANCE partner universities
  • Already exist and be ready to scale up (this call does not fund new course development)
  • Be delivered in online, hybrid, or COIL format — no Erasmus BIPs or face-to-face-only formats
  • Be open to bachelor and/or master students
  • Be delivered in English, with no or minimal entry requirements
  • Provide ECTS
  • Align with our alliance's strategy on technical education with a sustainability perspective, and with the ETH Competence Framework, which ENHANCE recognises as a powerful assessment matrix when shaping future-ready education

Applicants are responsible for arranging their own collaboration with a partner university before applying.

Proposals will be scored by a selection committee made up of the Future Competencies Lead, ENHANCE+ Cluster 2 representatives, and TU Delft's ENHANCE Core Officer. Successful applicants will be notified by 5 October 2026, with funding transferred that same month and offers running for Spring Term 2027.

Application form is HERE.
